- Operates the UH-60 Helicopter while instructing and evaluating the copilot.
- Conducts continuation training of other Maintenance Instructors to ensure currency and proficiency.
- Conducts classroom instruction on all aspects of the UH-60 Helicopter.
- Instruct and evaluate classroom portions of the Maintenance Test Pilot Course (MTPC) in accordance with Course Management Plans (CMP).
- Instruct and evaluate aviation students on pre-flight through post flight proficiency in the UH-60 Helicopter.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test and random testing thereafter.
- This position is subject to rotating shifts.
- Candidates for all pilot positions must possess a current first or second-class medical certificate in accordance with FAA regulations. (A copy MUST be uploaded with your application in order to be considered for this position)
- This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Department of the Army Class II annual Flight physical.

About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville.Duties
