      Helicopter Pilot (SPIFR) – HAA -Napa, CA

      We’re hiring an IFR Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This pilot will be qualified to fly our EC135/H135 aircraft. Scheduled shifts run seven days on / seven days off, 12-hour shifts, and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services; therefore, all of our pilots work on a quality, professional team committed to high safety standards for both crew and customers.
      Essential Functions/Duties:
      • Operates the aircraft in accordance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and company policies, always prioritizing safety and compliance.
      • Coordinates effectively with dispatch, medical teams, and ground personnel to ensure seamless transport operations.
      • Conducts pre-flight inspections, monitors weather conditions, completes flight planning, and ensures aircraft readiness for dispatch.
      • Maintains aircraft cleanliness and assists in routine housekeeping duties around the base, including the hangar and crew quarters.
      • Reports aircraft discrepancies, malfunctions, or incidents immediately to the Communications Center and maintenance team.
      • Participates in aircraft upkeep, including wash and wax responsibilities.
      • Accurately completes required paperwork, including flight logs and manifests, in a timely manner.
      • Provides detailed shift change reports and adheres to company protocols for updating the change board.
      • Embodies the REACH values and maintains a professional demeanor on and off duty.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.
      Education & Certifications:
      • FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate
      • FAA Helicopter Instrument Rating (Required)
      • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      Experience Requirements:
      • 2,000 helicopter flight hours
      • 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
      • 1,000 turbine hours
      • Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided and/or unaided)
      • Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time
      Pilot Incentives:
      • Hourly position
      • 35% geographical modifier to base pay
      • $5,000 IFR Stipend
      • $15,000 sign-on bonus (1-year commitment)
      • $40K Retention Bonus after 36 months under the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan
      • 24-hour pilot housing provided
      • 7-on / 7-off schedule
      Physical Requirements:
      • 230-pound weight limit, including flight gear
      • Frequently required to sit for extended periods
      • Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
      • Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
      • Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
      • Must work near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions
      • Frequently exposed to bloodborne pathogens, airborne particles, and in-flight vibrations
      • Noise levels may require wearing a headset
      Mental Requirements:
      • Ability to make sound, time-sensitive decisions under pressure
      • Follow oral and written instructions precisely
      • Adapt to irregular schedules and changing operational needs
      Previous Airbus EC135/H135 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
