      HEOR- & New Products Manager (m/f/d)

      Responsibilities

      • Develop health economic models and proactively run outcome research (HEOR) initiatives
      • Consult the Market Access, Policy & Communication team by designing & developing health economic models to demonstrate the value of our portfolio and support our target prices
      • Shape and support technical external vendor management for health economic models such as Cost-effectiveness models or Budget impact models
      • Customize and adapt global CE or BIM models to local needs
      • Effectively communicate health economics, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to colleagues across the organization, fully aligned with Policy & Communication department
      • Monitor trends, rules and policies related to HEOR or HTA for the Austrian hospital landscape, such as the reimbursed and outpatient, & vaccine setting to guarantee patient access to our therapies and preventive treatments
      • Collect and analyze local RWD data (incl. epidemiology, burden of disease, health care and societal costs) to maintain the product-specific value story
      • Act as an attentive observer and anticipate, at the earliest possible stage, developments in the Austrian healthcare system and their implications for our portfolio
      • Act as an attentive observer and anticipate, at the earliest possible stage, developments in the EU healthcare system and their implications for our portfolio (eg. EU-HTA)
      • Implement process in the Austrian organization and make us EU-HTA ready
      • Be ready to become part of the industry networks and evaluate the developments at EU level and their impact on our portfolio
      • Maintain our Market Access field team (Strategic Account Managers) by developing appropriate payer value packs/material to be used in negotiations with external stakeholders
      • Support the value proposition and cost-effectiveness of our pipeline products in close cross-functional collaboration with Medical and Business Units
      • Close coordination and cooperation with the international & regional Health Economics and Outcome Research teams (CORE)
      • Take the responsibility of our pipeline products as the Austrian New Products Manager, by conducting desktop market research, giving feedback to global development teams, aggregating epidemiological and clinical insights, and accompanying the transition of product from pipeline to the launch team.
      • Act as a member of the international new product group to understand the unmet needs in our companies’ new medical domains
      • Closely connect with MER countries, peers and create your strong network
      • Keep an overview of the R&D pipeline and support our local management in making strategic decisions, and facilitate communication with our global stakeholders
      • Work closely with various departments to develop the best Market Access strategy and prepare launch areas
      • Is willing to actively engage with new methods and tools of artificial intelligence

      Qualifications

      • University degree in a health-related field is required
      • Internal- and external stakeholder network is an asset
      • Experiences in an Austrian health care agency or provider is an asset or a minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry is required
      • Gained experiences the in the field of health economics and outcome research is an asset
      • Demonstrated ability to understand medical scientific & outcomes data and is capable to transfer this in economic and medical context
      • Very good understanding of healthcare environment, market, and business context
      • Strong presentations skills
      • Visible track record in project management in larger organizations
      • Above average MS Excel skills and data analytic skills
      • Experienced in Office365 and MS Teams
      • Fluent in German and English
      • First experiences with AI-tools

The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 72.100,- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
