Key duties and responsibilities are: - identification and recruitment of suitable candidates to participate in studies - management and facilitation of studies, ensuring data is correctly gathered and recorded - co-ordination of the care of patients within the context of the clinical trials - adherence to ICH GCP guidelines - when required, support of junior colleagues in the effective management of patients in clinical trials You will be supervised by the Hepatology Research Leads: Lynsey Corless & George Abouda, line-managed by the Trusts Research, Development & Innovation Matron and Senior Research Nurses, and supported by the other Hepatology Research Staff. Although the post holder's primary focus would be within Hepatology Research, there is an expectation that you are also responsive to the research needs of the organisation and may therefore be required to work in other research areas in the Trust.

  • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
