  Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or related field
  Willingness to obtain a Michigan Teaching Certificate and/or career authorization
  A Valid Teaching certificate (GX or GQ)
  CTE certification
  Ability to become Annually Authorized as a CTE Instructor (minimum of two (2) years/4,000 hours) of recent work experience in Business, Marketing, or other related fields within the business, management, and administration career cluster.
  Provide instruction to 9th-12th grade students in a variety of business-related courses
  Run school store by providing enriching student opportunities for real-world business experiences and developing student leaders
  Develop positive relationships with students and parents
  Keep up-to-date CTE documentation in coordination with OAISD supports
  Exhibit excellent classroom management
  Work as a professional team member in collaboration with other secondary-level teachers and colleagues
  Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
  Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
  Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken work; those activities where detailed or import spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
  Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  The worker is subject to environmental conditions.
  The worker should provide consistent and reliable attendance.

  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or related field
