      POSITION OVERVIEW:

      Portland High School is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic individual to fill a part-time English teaching position at one of the most diverse schools in Maine. Applicants should hold valid state certification (100S) and:
      • be open to working with a wide range of learners
      • be comfortable integrating technology into the classroom
      • have experience with curriculum review and design
      • demonstrate ethusiasm for engaging students in authentic learning experiences
      • show a willingness to collaborate with others
      Familiarity with a mix of both classical and contemporary literature is a plus.
