    • Instruct students of all ability levels in assigned FCS courses using the District curriculum.
    • Conducts work in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to high levels of professional practice and conduct.

    • Function as a collaborative and contributing team member within the FCS staff.
    • Frequently communicate with students, parents, counselors and administrators regarding student progress and other related matters.
    • Monitor, assess and report student progress toward learning targets and curriculum.
    • Maintains a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
    • Implements useful progress monitoring assessment measures.
    • Effectively uses multiple forms of assessment and progress data to plan/guide instruction and inform the learner.
    • Establishes a cooperative relationship with all students.
    • Fosters a sense of appreciation and enthusiasm for the content area.

    • Knowledge of International Baccalaureate (preferred).

      Position: High School Family & Consumer Science Teacher
      Effective 2025-26 School Year

      Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' skills and competence in secondary Family & Consumer Science (KH).

      Essential Functions:

      Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
