What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and verify accuracy of physician documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain accuracy of the physician documentation deficiency management application
- Monitor compliance with required physician documentation
- Serve as a documentation compliance liaison between all departments
- Identify patterns and trends for process improvement opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3 years’ experience focused on deficiency analysis
- Demonstration of medical terminology
- Strong professional communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work independently and adapt to departmental needs
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in deficiency management, EMR, and Microsoft applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- RHIT/RHIA credentials
- Experience with Epic software
