      General Purpose of Job:

      Position provides primary record analysis support in the area of health information management. Support may involve record analysis, chart corrections, overlay reviews, documentation amendment correspondence, physician medical record completion, deficiency tracking/resolution processing medical records.

      • Communicates with management and others in a prompt and professional manner both in verbal and written forms.
      • Reports to work on time and strives to minimize non-productive time.

      Education and/or Experience:

      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years related experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
      • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience optional.

      Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

      None required. RHIA or RHIT optional.
