      Your Opportunity

      • Demonstrating foundational histotechniques of embedding, microtomy, coverslipping, processing and primary staining. Operating laboratory or manufacturing equipment.
      • Maintaining the Right to Operate and ensuring that all processes are performed in a safe and healthy manner; Timely addressing and escalating any potentially unsafe hazards; navigating and understanding the quality system and escalating issues.
      • Performs¿ing and documents all transactions and production instructions with accuracy related to the proper receipt, quarantine, storage, and disbursement of materials as it relates to FDA, OSHA, QSR, ISO, Good Manufacturing Practices and other Roche policies and procedures. Accurately performs tasks in a regulated environment (OSHA, NMPA, FDA, etc.).
      • Recognizing minor issues with raw materials, equipment and lab safety, escalates as needed.
      • Participates in process improvement activities. Conducting 6S activities, maintaining daily records, assisting in the implementation of process improvements

      Who You Are

      • You hold a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of directly related histology experience (foundational histotechniques of embedding, microtomy, coverslipping, processing and primary staining & operating laboratory or manufacturing equipment.)

      • Ability to read, analyze and follow Operating Procedures.
      • Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement.
      • Ability to use the technology associated with the industry and precision tools. Experience with Google products (gMail, gSheets, gDoc, etc), preferred. Experience with SAP required.
      • Ability to work with cross-functional teams. Strong English communication skills - written, and verbal, organizational and planning skills, high critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
      • Ability to be agile and accurate in a high-volume environment. Time management skills

      • Required to have good near visual acuity to perform activities throughout the processes in the assigned area.

      The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location Arizona is $43,900.00 - $81,500.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
