Job Summary

InSite Health Care Management is seeking a talented and highly motivated Histology Technician to perform a full range of services in a surgical pathology laboratory. Responsibilities & Duties

• Maintains the Lab's TAT and routine histology duties: microtomy, embedding, cutting, staining intensity, proper cover slipping and staining artifacts

• Operates automated laboratory instrumentation.

• Orders/requests supplies when needed

• Maintains policies and procedures to State/CLIA standards for successful State/CLIA inspections

• Record keeping and quality control logs and documentation.

• Responsible for equipment maintenance

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be certified HT or HTL experienced Histotech and ASCP certified.

• 2-5 years Histotech experience required
