Histology Technician - Part Time

Job Description
- Req#: REF855D
- Prepare tissue samples by fixing, staining, dying, trimming, and other methods.
- Identify and document technical issues, quality assurance, and procedural improvements.
- Use, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, and keep a clean, disinfected work space.
- Receive, log, and document patient specimens and accompanying forms.
- The person should be certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a histotechnician or histotechnologist.
- Experience working in a lab is almost always a must, as this is a critical part of the job.
- For new grads with positive attitudes and eagerness to learn, we will gladly assist in training.
- Part-time
- Minimum of 2 years current Histology experience (Preferred)
- May take newer, licensed candidates under 2 years of experience
- Mohs Surgery experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
- AS/BS in Biological/Physical Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HT or HTL ASCP certified and Florida licensed (Required)

US Path Labs has an opportunity for a Histology Technician in our dynamic and fast growing dermatopathology lab located in Boca Raton, FL.
To join our team, you must be HT or HTL ASCP certified, and Florida licensed, with the ability to precisely and accurately perform a variety of routine and specialized histology techniques.
This is a part-time position, 3 days per week - Thursday, Friday, and Monday. We are looking for a positive and eager team player.
New, licensed grads are welcome!
