      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Historical Researcher in Family Wealth & Culture Services in the Advice Center as part of Enterprise Advice & Planning. This Historical Researcher will conduct family history and genealogical research to support customers surrounding family wealth planning.       In this role, you will:

      • Contribute to planning and execution of client-facing projects that directly assist strategic business development

      • Review and analyze moderately complex historical research in online databases, institutional archives, libraries, and special collections that require an in depth evaluation of variable factors

      • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

      • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

      • Interact with internal and external customers


      Required Qualifications:

      • 4+ years of Family Dynamics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


      Desired Qualifications:

      • Experience conducting independent archival research and organizing materials identified

      • Proven record of transforming archival research work into historical PowerPoint presentations and publications

      • Working knowledge of new and emerging historical resources, technologies, and digital humanities

      • Proven research skills in online databases, institutional archives, and special collections

      • Proven ability to work independently and as part of team to meet performance objectives

      • Ability to synthesize complex material into a clear and insightful manner in written, oral and digital formats

      • Experience translating documents from various languages, such as Spanish, German, Hebrew and Italian

      • Master's degree or higher in history or related field of study
