HL7 and DICOM Software Engineer - (CONTRACTOR)

Job Description
- Req#: REF29F
- Create HL7/FHIR compatible interfaces between internal A.I. system and hospital systems
- Work closely with IT teams, clients (usually hospitals), and various IT vendors
- Responsible for ensuring integration of various heterogeneous systems and networks and transfer of patient information within on-prem network and/or cloud network and to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Other responsibilities include writing codes, reviewing codes, and testing various systems
- Once deployed to the customer's site, troubleshooting and on-going maintenance is expected.
- Industry experience 3+ years
- DICOM communication protocols, HL7 2.0 and FHIR standard knowledge required
- HL7 3.0 preferred
- Familiar with Python or C++ or C#
- Must be experienced with PACS, electronic medical records (EMR) and patient management systems (PMs), as well as other clinical systems
- Computer Science degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Agile methodology experience
- Strong analytical mind and a confident decision maker
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate well, both technically and interpersonally
- Ability to balance competing demands and adapt to changing priorities
- Python experience preferred
