      Music Teacher

      Holy Family School in South Bend is in search of a Music Teacher for Preschool - 8th Grade. The ideal candidate will be faith-filled and dedicated to providing quality instruction for students by integrating the mission of Holy Family School and the Diocese of Fort Wayne / South Bend in all planning, teaching, and classroom activities to benefit students in Preschool through 8th grade.

      Job Responsibilities Include:
      • Develop and teach music curriculum according to state and school standards
      • Instruct students in music theory, music history, and techniques for singing and playing instruments
      • Plan and direct student's performances
      • Organize and maintain a clean and safe music classroom
      • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
      • Collaborate with other teachers and staff mentors
      • Lead the School Choir at Mass
      Job Requirements:
      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education or a related field
      • Teacher License is an added bonus
      • Experience teaching music to children in an elementary or similar setting
      • Excellent communication, organizational, and instructional skills.
      • Ability to inspire and motivate students to learn and practice music
