      Program Manager

      The League’s Home Care Program is seeking a dedicated, hard-working and self-motivated Program Manager to join our team. This full-time, exempt position is responsible for the day-to-day operations, growth and regulatory compliance of the Program. This role supervises the home care field staff, schedules the provision of attendant care, homemaker, and respite care services in accordance with consumers approved care plans; and manages office operations that support the provision of services. The ideal candidate should have a strong work-ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and be motivated to serve our consumers. Prefer a qualified person with a disability.

      Essential Duties/Skills/Responsibilities/Qualifications

      · Retains a full work cycle of caregivers, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, evaluating, disciplining and making termination decisions.

      · Maintains monthly field staff schedules and makes changes as necessary to ensure that all authorized hours are consistently filled, and staff are effectively engaged.

      · Contributes to Program growth by building relationships with current and potential referral sources, marketing the program with the Philanthropy team, and working with League staff to service internal consumers.

      · Conducts new employee orientation and quarterly in-service training sessions in collaboration with the Human Resources team to provide caregivers with continued education opportunities.

      · Complies

      · with regulatory requirements and funding sources by ensuring that all caregiver and consumer documentation (care plans, time sheets, case notes, authorizations) is accurate and audit ready.

      · Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field, preferred. Undergraduate degree and two years of direct experience in health service administration, with a minimum of one year in home health required.
