What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop pre-inspection plans
- Research property information
- Review construction plans, specifications, and warranties
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Conduct field assessments, including climbing scaffolding, ladders, and roofs
- Maintain organized records and prepare detailed reports
- Assist with cost estimating and subcontractor coordination
- Review and research building codes and construction standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum two-year degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- Certifications in building inspections
- Minimum 2+ years of industry and housing building code experience
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word and Excel
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Engineer In Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- Home Inspector License/Certification
- Experience in estimating
