  Our Homemaker offers support to all residents by providing general housekeeping duties, stocking necessary supplies, cooking, transporting items for cleaning or food service, and laundry duties. All staff working for a particular unit is to focus on meeting the needs unique to that unit and provide support in making the unit function to meet resident needs. In other words if an employee is working on a one particular hall they would perform a variety of tasks not necessarily department oriented tasks such as dietary or laundry. This particular position, homemaker, involves housekeeping, laundry and dietary tasks which support the functioning of the resident unit.

  Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimal 16 years of age, ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors and co-workers.
  • Required to follow HIPAA guidelines and adhere to confidentiality of resident information.
  • Position requires accuracy an ability to function in housekeeping, laundry and dietary duties.
  • Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions in a safe and adequate manner while adhering to company and facility policies and procedures.
