- Design, clean and maintain living and artificial exhibit plant collection and landscaping
- Monitor performance of landscape contractors
- Gather and remove dead leaves from the inside and outside collections to ensure the exhibits and landscape are vibrant an engaging

- Have experience in the use of power tools associated with landscaping, knowledge of basic irrigation and the ability to grow plants from seed and cuttings
- Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds, are comfortable working on ladders and can work in a variety of weather conditions
- Are highly motivated and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Can satisfy criteria for passing a background and drug test
- Are familiar with design and installation of Christmas light displays (is a plus)

HorticulturistThe Horticulturist is responsible for designing, maintaining and enhancing the living and artificial exhibit plant collection. The inside collection and outside landscaping are a vital part of the guest experience and must be kept to high standards at all times. Creating great guest experiences is the highest priority for the Aquarium and the Horticulturist plays a key role in making that happen.
