Job Description
- Req#: 44265
- Provides spiritual support to patients/caregivers.
- Develops and maintains a resource group of clergy.
- Acts as a liaison between hospice and community.
- Documents records of visits to patients/caregivers.
- Works collaboratively as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in religion, human services, theology, philosophy and/or be an ordained minister of his/her religious organization with emphasis in counseling.
- Prefer advanced degree or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry.
- Experience and competence in therapeutic methods of working with individuals, groups, and families in crisis, preferably in counseling and death, dying, and grief.
- Ability to be open, flexible, and ecumenical.
- Ability to work with IDT as a member as well as the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to select, train, and supervise the work of the bereavement volunteers.
