      Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

      Cook

      PRN/Per Diem/As Needed

      Schedule:

      • 7000 Cobble Creek Dr. Pensacola, FL 32504
      • Per Diem
      • As needed- 8 hour shift
      • $20.00/hr

      As a cook at Select Specialty, you will prepare food from scratch using fresh ingredients. Come use your culinary skills in an environment where a delicious meal doesn’t just warm the heart – it helps patients heal and return to the life they love.

      Responsibilities

      We are actively seeking candidates who are flexible, patient-centric, exceptional communicators, detail-oriented, and team players. In this role, typical responsibilities include the following:

      • Provide high-quality food preparation for patients and the cafeteria
      • Clean and maintain equipment
      • Follow standardized recipes and portion control
      • Stay informed of nutritional services and regulatory requirements.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or GED required
      • One (1) year of cooking experience is required

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Culinary Arts degree preferred.
      • Completion of a state or a local food safety-training course, preferred.
      • Hospital experience is preferred.
