      POSITION: Hospitality and Tourism Teacher

      LOCATION: Westover High School

      JOB SUMMARY:The Hospitality and Tourism Teacher is responsible for teaching courses in the field of hospitality and tourism, preparing students for careers in the industry This role involves lesson plans, delivering lectures, conducting assessments, and providing hands-on training to ensure students gain practical skills. The teacher will also stay updated with industry trends and incorporate the latest practices into the curriculum.



      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
      1. Charter Waiver Eligible;
      2. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field;
      3. Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in the hospitality and tourism industry;
      4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
      SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
      1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
      2. Strong knowledge of hospitality and tourism management principles;

      SALARY RANGE: Competitive salary and excellent benefits package, in accordance with the DCSS Compensation Guide
