The Hospitality Clerk with CFC Properties is the first point of contact and is responsible for answering the phone, responding to questions and greeting visitors and guests. This position is located at the Grant Street Inn.
Responsibilities
Full Time shift: 40 hours per week
• Greet guests and patrons as they arrive• Check in customers, verify guests' payment method and provide guests with directions to their room• Take reservations, keep accurate account of schedule• Communicate w/housekeeping on check in/outs as needed• Invoice and ensure payment for their stay and services used• Receive and relay incoming, outgoing and internal phone calls• Refers messages to appropriate party• Process incoming and outgoing mail & faxes• Manage accurate accounting of all rooms• Answer queries regarding the Inn's services and amenities and local happenings• Maintain the front desk with a professional appearance• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required• Previous customer service experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software & Adobe PDF• Hospitality experience preferred• Knowledge of local area preferred
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
• Works under general office environmental conditions• Sitting for extended periods of time, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.• Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
