  Rixos Qetaifan Island North

  Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

  Hostess

  The responsibilities of a Hostess include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts along with given proper uniforms as per company standards.

  What you will be doing:

  • Welcome guests to the venue and consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Greet guests upon their departure.
  • Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists to assist guests regarding all food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.
  • Manage reservations.
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverages list and promotions.
  • Escort the guest to dining or bar areas.
  • Provide menus and announce the waiter /waitress’s name following outlets policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when communicating with guests.

  Your experience and skills include:

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous Hostess experience is an asset
  • Knowledge about the Point-of-Sale System is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic Food Safety Certificate
  • Arabic Speaking is an advantage
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
