      Hotel Administrator
      Full-Time | Permanent Position

      The Hotel Administrator at Novotel and Ibis Rotorua plays a vital role in keeping the hotel buzzing with energy! Supporting the Talent and Culture, Sales, and Marketing teams, you'll be the go-to person for everything from staff onboarding and safety to organizing fun staff engagement events. You’ll also bring your creativity to life by assisting with materials design and managing key administrative tasks like staff records and reporting. Your work will help create a positive, dynamic environment where everything runs smoothly, and teams stay connected and motivated.

      Job Description

      Administrative Support:

      • Track staff records and assist with end-of-month reporting.

      • Provide administrative help to Sales and Marketing Communications teams.

      • Assist with BEOs, payments, and invoicing follow-up.

      • Take meeting minutes and update the telephone list.

      Design & Creative Support:

      • Design flyers and marketing materials.

      General Administrative Duties:

      • Order supplies and create purchase orders (e.g., stationary, name badges, Heartist Cards).

      • Maintain proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and tasks.

      Accor Representation:

      • Act as an Accor ambassador, promoting the company’s image and reputation.

      • Represent Accor to suppliers and partners where needed.

      Qualifications

      Qualifications & Preferred Attributes for Hotel Administrator:

      • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

      • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

      • Attention to detail and accuracy

      • Creative mindset for designing marketing materials

      • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams

      • Experience in administrative or hospitality roles (preferred)

      • Positive attitude and professional appearance

      • Knowledge of hotel operations and systems (preferred)

      • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
