      The Opportunity

      Hotel Seville Nomad seeks an enthusiastic professional to join our Operations team as Management Intern. This role will be focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences; you will be part of a team passionate about lifestyle hospitality, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills and building connections with guests and colleagues across the hotel. This position reports to the hotel’s Director of Rooms.

      The Role

      This is a 13-week paid Hyatt internship for candidates who are seeking a firsthand understanding of the hospitality industry. This program focuses primarily on Hotel Rooms Operations. The role will work closely with Hotel Leadership to deliver our guests unique experiences. Duties for the Management Intern would include, but are not limited to:

      · Supporting the Housekeeping operation with administrative and practical tasks

      · Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness standards

      · Organize and Maintain Hotel’s Lost & Found protocols

      · Maintaining Hyatt’s standards of service and ensuring their implementation

      · Resolving customer concerns as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality

      · Act as support for the colleagues both front and heart of house within the Rooms operation

      · Assist senior leadership with projects focused on the Rooms Division

      The Management Intern would also get exposure to leadership duties and processes including scheduling, hiring, training, coaching and counseling.

      Salary Range: $22 per hour

      Experience Required:

      • Capable of a 13-week commitment
      • Ability to work a flexible schedule which may including mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
      • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
      • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
      • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
      • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
      • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

      Experience Preferred:

      • College course work in Hospitality or related field
      • Previous experience working in a hotel or a related field
