Department Overview:
We are private citizens who are traveling to visit our daughter and her family over the holidays.

14 Schedule:
Starting 12/13/25, be on location to learn about the house and cats. May start caring for cats that evening.
Starting 12/14/25, care for cats in the AM and PM, providing food and fresh water, and enrichment. Clean litter boxes, bring in mail. Clean house as needed (after cats, or after yourself). Shovel front entry as needed.
Owners anticipate returning 1/17/26 in the afternoon. The job will end at that time; cat care would not be needed that evening.
Ideally, stay on site (loding provided in exchange for cat care).
MINIMALLY, be on site for roughly 1 hour twice a day.
Salary/Wage Range:

1 Position Summary/Job Duties:
Ideally, stay at our house for the job duration, with lodging provided in exchange for watching our two cats. Selected candidate can leave the cats during the day, as long as they are fed in the morning and in the evening.
Minimally, visit our house twice daily (AM and PM) for the job duration, feeding cats and providing clean water, cleaning litter boxes, and providing enrichment.
Bring in the mail daily, clean up as needed, watch the house in general, and shovel the front entry if needed (driveway snow removal is contracted). Take garbage bins to the street weekly, if needed.
Keep owners appraised of cat and house status, sending photos or videos via text or email.
Qualifications:
Reliability is critical.
Prior experience with cats and cat care is required.
Prior experience with general house or room care responsibility is required.
Applicant must have their own car.
Physical Demands
Up and down stairs to the basement and garage. Lift 25lb boxes of litter to refill litter boxes. Carry trash bags to garbage bins. Take bins to street. Play with cats. Application Instructions:
