      House Supervisor (RN)) -Full-time, day shift, night shift & PRN

      As the only free-standing psychiatric hospital in the Central Kentucky area, we are here to help. Please join our team as we expand our services to meet the needs of our community.


      The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital located in the heart of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. The Ridge provides psychiatric, and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years.

      House Supervisors coordinates and supervises personnel providing care to the patients and all components of the treatment program. Performs supportive and performance improvement duties as identified by CNO.

      Job Duties Include:

      Organizes, directs and controls staffing and daily assignments, based on acuity reports and safe and efficient use of resources.
      Assigns duties based on staff competency and patient acuity.
      Supervises nursing staff to ensure assigned duties are complete.
      Ensures staff members have necessary resources to provide quality care.
      Assists with coverage for changes in acuity and alteration in staffing patterns.
      Attends and participates in Nursing Leadership, Performance Improvement and other hospital meetings and committees as needed.

      Qualifications

      · Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky or (eligible to receive or renew)

      · Preferred experience or interest in working in a psychiatric inpatient setting

      · BS Degree Preferred

      · 1+ Year of Supervisory Experience

      · HWC required and offered upon hire

      · Psychiatric Nursing background strongly preferred
