- Perform routine cleaning duties (i.e., regular dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and garbage disposal, etc.).
- Perform cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, and common living areas in residence.
- Reports all facilities or maintenance issues and hazardous conditions to Residence Manager or designee in a timely manner.
- Follow sanitizing checklist as it relates to COVID-19.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Ability to effectively present information to management in verbal and written formats.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.
- Pack household supplies in their designated area when delivered weekly.
- Ability to work within general guidelines and minimal supervision.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and execute responsibilities.
- Required to lift boxes of items delivered to the residence on a weekly basis.
- Required to operate household cleaning equipment.
- The residence must be clean, orderly/neat, and free of trip hazards and harmful chemicals.

Position Summary :
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the building in a clean, orderly, safe condition as outlined in Birch’s Health and Facility Safety Checklist. The Housekeeper performs routine cleaning duties, removing trash, maintaining a schedule of deep cleaning activities, reporting maintenance issues within the residences as they arise, and notifying management of the need for repairs.

EXPERIENCE
Min. 1-2 years of housekeeper experience in health, treatment, residential program or related setting
