      Housekeeper – Environmental Services (PRN / Rotating Schedule)

      Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound, 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028

      Work hours: PRN – Must be available to work between the hours of 7:00am-11:30pm. Occasional weekends. (Two-week notice will be given upon shift change).

      Environmental Services Department Highlights:

      Here’s What You Need

      • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred
      • 6 Months related experience preferred
      • Hospital or Hotel experience strongly preferred

      What You Will Do

      • Empty, clean and reline trash containers.
      • Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
      • Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff.
      • Clean restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets.
      • Perform patient interviews on incoming and discharging patients to inform them of the expectations from the EVS department.
      • Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen.
      • Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff.
