- Req#: 550264
- Clean resident rooms including bathrooms and floors on a daily basis
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including common areas, nursing station areas, lounges, stairways and offices
- Empty trash and restock housekeeping supplies as needed
- Assist with laundry department
- Perform other housekeeping functions as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate required
- Ability to understand and communicate in English required
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Must be able to work with all cleaning equipment as well as laundry and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry supplies up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility with schedule and assignments
- Must be adaptable to change and able to deal with crisis and emergencies

ABOUT THIS POSITION
This is a hourly position (40hrs) based at The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. The shift requirements for this position are 11:30am-8:00 pm and availability for every other weekend. You will be expected to cover assigned shifts, including holidays, and should be available to cover vacations/call outs on occasion. This position is covered by the SEIU 1199 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
