JOB SUMMARY
Housekeeping Aide is responsible for the delivery of housekeeping services to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff of Holy Family Home.
Housekeeping Aide demonstrates a commitment to the Mission of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate by supporting the care values regarding the provision of quality care, loving environment, Christian ideals and principles, respect for life and dignity of person, and preservation of our traditional ethnic customs.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language.
2. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
3. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
4. Ability to organize and establish priorities regarding workload.
5. Possesses good physical, mental health, and good attendance to meet the requirements of the position.
6. Respective to the rights of the residents.
7. Adheres to all Safety & Health regulations and safe work practices.
8. Knowledge of Infection control procedures and WHMIS.
9. Knowledge of using janitorial equipment.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
