      Job summary

      This is a temporary Housekeeping Assistant role at Avery Healthcare in Esher. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, while treating residents with dignity and respect.

      Main duties of the job

      As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work as part of a team to ensure all cleaning and laundry standards are met.       Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

      Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

      • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
      • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
      • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
