      In this role, you will support the cleanliness, upkeep, and setup of our venue to ensure a seamless guest experience. Your responsibilities will include event setup and tear-down, light maintenance, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate is punctual, efficient, and eager to contribute to the success of weddings and events.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Arrange tables, chairs, linens per event specifications.
      • Perform light maintenance, including minor repairs, touch-ups, and ensuring all facilities are in top condition.
      • Maintain clean and presentable event spaces, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, and restocking supplies.
      • Sweep, scrub, mop, and maintain hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors.
      • Empty bins, remove trash, and maintain recycling stations.
      • Ensure all public spaces are neat, organized, and event-ready.
      • Maintain cleaning and event setup equipment, ensuring all items are stored properly and in working order.
      • Work closely with the venue team to assist with event logistics and last-minute needs.
      • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
      • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive movements.
      • Previous experience in hospitality, events or maintenance preferred.
      • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow event setup diagrams.
      • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible shifts based on event schedules.
      • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist where needed.

      The important extras:

      • As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
