      The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.

      $17.25 - $21.25

      Position Highlights

      7:00am-3:30pm PRN (as needed ) not benefit eligible

      Every other weekend/holiday

      Duties include: Medical waste, garbage, linen, and corridor cleaning.

      A Brief Overview

      Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned area. Responsible for proper removal of trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste.

      What you will do

      • Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas.
      • Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows/glass and replacing light bulbs.
      • Maintains clean/neat floor surfaces as assigned. This may entail, but not limited to: dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip/sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming.
      • Dispose of all trash in an appropriate manner including the pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining general cleanliness of trash receptacles.
      • Participates in relocation of office and other general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary.

      Essential Qualifications

      The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.       Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

      • High School or GED Equivalent :or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
