Job Description
- Req#: GSWA-48127
- Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
- Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles.
- Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
- Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
- Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
- Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
- Perform opening and closing shift duties.
- Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
- Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
- Acts as Manager on Duty when required .
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
- Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position
- Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
