      Are you ready to take the next big step in your career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests!

      About the role:

      The Housekeeping Supervisor is part of the Housekeeping Team who collectively is responsible for the cleanliness and attention to detail of the hotel. The position works closely with the Housekeeping leadership team to ensure a high level of cleanliness hotel wide. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons. The position oversees both Housekeeping Attendants and Housepersons working on the floors conducting detailed inspections of their work.

      Main Responsibilities:

      • Inspects the work of a team of Housekeeping Attendants and Housepersons responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a specific area of the hotel. Trains and coaches employees when standards have been missed.

      • Schedules work to be done daily, collects room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas. Monitors each Housekeeping Attendants daily progress. Inspects completed rooms to assure that all standards have been met

      • Coordinates work orders in assigned section. Follows up to be sure work is completed

      • Ensure that there are sufficient supplies on the guest floors

      • Checks cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and Linen Closets

      • Assist the Housekeeping leaders on the daily management of the department

      • Train and supervise the Housekeeping team in the performance of their duties

      • Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Lobby Attendant, Housekeeping Attendants and Housepersons.

      • Communicate closely with other departments to ensure follow-up on any special problems, guest requests, etc.

      • Complete evening Housekeeping report and follow-up on discrepancies

      • Assist other departments as required in resolving problems

      • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation

      • Additional tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management

      What you will bring:

      • A minimum of one year of Housekeeping supervisory experience is preferred

      • Administration skills and strong communication skills

      • Strong command of the English language

      • A working knowledge of hotel systems and operations

      • Strong attention to detail

      • Ability to lift 40 pounds of weight

      • Must be able to grasp, bend and stoop

      • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day

      • Requires a working knowledge of the housekeeping aspect of services, policies or operations and general knowledge of the hotel

      • Requires the ability to operate various computer systems

      Schedule & Hours:

      This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
