• Fixed-Term/Secondment Roles Ending June 2025We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Housing Broker in the Auckland Central & East Region. This is a Fixed Term/ Secondment ending in June 2025, and you will be based at our Queen Street service centre. The Housing Broker role was created to increase the connections between private landlords, property managers and the wider private rental market. In this role, you will work alongside regional housing staff to support the connection of our clients to suitable and sustainable private rental options. Stable housing increases the sustainability of work and career progression, supports families and builds communities.

• Providing valuable housing market insights.
• Engaging in sales and marketing efforts.
• Actively interacting and communicating with the housing team to support clients.

• A high level of technical expertise and professional knowledge in the private rental market and the broader housing sector.
• Current knowledge of regional and national private rental and housing market dynamics, including challenges and opportunities.
• A comprehensive understanding of tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in promotional and marketing skills, with an understanding of key strategies and approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• A strong client-centric approach.
• Outstanding relationship management and communication skills.
• The ability to consistently deliver successful outcomes.You will have a full and clear driver’s licence and the ability to travel around the Auckland region is essential.

Position Description
Salary range: $78,222.00 - $94,689.00
The starting salary is aligned to knowledge, skills and relevant work experience.
