- You will provide technical expertise to address housing problems and management issues and develop policy for the Housing Management Section.
- You will develop management training programs for Regional and Installation Housing personnel.
- You will manage the Marine Corps strategic needs assessment of housing professional to the Family Housing Management Institute.
- You will provide oversight and technical guidance of the Unit Diary Electronic Fund Transfer (UDEFT) program that services all of the Marine Corps occupants in privatized housing.
- You will serve as lead in determining family housing requirements utilizing Housing Requirements Market Analyses and personnel housing surveys.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: 1) Overseeing Military Housing and Unaccompanied Housing programs to include developing policy, managing resources, and interpreting regulations; 2) Providing technical advisory services to management on the housing management field utilizing expert knowledge of Federal, State, and regional housing policies, regulations, and laws; 3) Developing housing policies and procedures, analyzing management concepts, and conducting studies to develop management criteria by identifying and applying the latest management concepts and techniques of housing programs; 4) Ensuring fiscal accountability and preparing housing requirements to support programming of resources for forecasting, budgeting, and policy development; 5) Demonstrated functional familiarity with government database systems such as Enterprise Military Housing; 6) Preparing government correspondence; 7) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications and other management systems; and 8) Demonstrated basic understanding of government appropriations, budgeting, and program management.
