- Large-scale HR team: Learn from & collaborate with experienced peers
- Partner with our regional leaders & team members across our store network
- Hybrid ways of working, discounts across our brands, free staff parking, onsite gym and café at our Northcote office
- Build strong relationships with the Regional and Store Leadership and provide hands-on support on a range of HR matters
- Ensure HR processes are delivered consistently within areas
- Ensure compliance with NZ employment legislation and company policies and procedures
- Lead and participate in HR projects
- Assist the business in delivering strategies to build organisational performance and capability with their teams
- Passionate about people with a knack for understanding their needs and motivations
- Problem solvers who bring creative solutions to the table
- Able to juggle multiple tasks without losing sight of the finer details

- Previous high-volume employment relations advisory experience
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Exposure to union bargaining is an advantage but not essential

Job Description
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as the business partner to regional leaders of our Noel Leeming and The Warehouse brands in Region 4 (Bay of Plenty/Hawkes Bay). You will be relied on as the trusted advisor for your region to provide sound commercial and practical HR advice on a range of matters including employment relations, performance management, absence management, and engagement.
