We are looking for a HR Advisor who thrives on relationships, problem solving and driving change. This role will grow your HR foundational experience, hone your ER skills and ultimately fast-track your career!

      Job Description

      As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as the business partner to regional leaders of our Noel Leeming and The Warehouse brands in Region 4 (Bay of Plenty/Hawkes Bay). You will be relied on as the trusted advisor for your region to provide sound commercial and practical HR advice on a range of matters including employment relations, performance management, absence management, and engagement.

      Drawing on your toolkit of skills and experience you will:

      • Build strong relationships with the Regional and Store Leadership and provide hands-on support on a range of HR matters
      • Ensure HR processes are delivered consistently within areas
      • Ensure compliance with NZ employment legislation and company policies and procedures
      • Lead and participate in HR projects
      • Assist the business in delivering strategies to build organisational performance and capability with their teams

      Qualifications

      Qualifications/experience:

      • Previous high-volume employment relations advisory experience
      • Strong commercial and business acumen
      • Exposure to union bargaining is an advantage but not essential
