      HR Advisor, Practice (FTC) – The role:

      This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual to join a high-performance global Human Resources team.

      This role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.

      As an HR Advisor within the Corporate practice; you will work alongside Partners, Managers and other key stakeholders in our practice groups to ensure our people are managed effectively to deliver against the firm’s strategic priorities. Primary areas of focus are:

      • Headcount and business planning
      • Supporting employee development by means of identifying development needs, helping to maintain a continuous feedback culture, and heling to manage transfers, secondments and exchange programmes
      • Advising Partners and Managers on policy and best practice relating to performance management and employee relations issues
      • Driving forward the annual appraisal, salary and bonus review process
      • Conducting exit interviews and advising on policy, best practice, and any recurring themes that become apparent from interview data
      • Working closely with other teams across the HR function, to include the Lateral Recruitment team in relation to Associate hiring
      • Contributing to the firmwide DEI strategy, working with HR Managers to drive progress
      • Supporting on a range of special projects, relating to either client groups or HR strategy

      HR Advisor, Practice (FTC) – What we’re looking for:

      • Previous experience operating at an advisory level, either within a law firm or another partnership environment
      • Extensive knowledge of the generalist HR function
      • A confident and effective communicator who is able to influence, as well as being robust when challenged
      • Ability to take ownership and work autonomously
      • Commercially aware and comfortable working with data and MI
      • An individual who is keen to learn and develop their existing knowledge
