THE OPPORTUNITY

The HR & Recruiting Intern will assist with day-to-day operation of the Human Resources department. This position will be responsible for providing support on the day-to-day operation of the Human Resources department in various areas such as recruitment, recordkeeping, data entry, filing, and recordkeeping. Respond to Human Resources inquiries and requests from internal and external customers.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• Scheduling of candidates with interview panel, managing calendars, following up on invitations, confirming attendance
• Create interview agendas and distribute documents for candidates
• Collecting candidate evaluations
• Follow up with candidates post interviews
• Maintain data in ADP applicant tracking
• Maintain company organizational charts
• Manage confidential and time sensitive materials
• Coordinating internal and external interviews
• Aligning with talent acquisition function in managing the job description data base
• Answering employees’ questions and provide requested information
• Prescreen, schedule interviews and assist in interviewing applicants
• Create and maintain all employee personnel files and recordsCreate job postings for external websites
• Coordinate reference checks as required
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

WHAT WE SEEK

• 1 Years of Administrative Support in a fast-paced environment a plus but not required
• Prior experience supporting HR or Recruiting, preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service & detail orientation
• Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing and time-management skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) with specific expertise in Outlook
• Proficient in arranging and administering virtual meetings using Zoom and/or MS Teams
• Ability collaborate communicate within all levels of the company as well as applicants
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment prioritize assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects
• Forward thinking and taking the initiative to anticipate the needs of department/team
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Data-driven mindset
• Maintain confidentiality

EDUCATION

• Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in San Diego is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Arcturus Therapeutics is multi state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
