      HR Associate


      The HR Associate will have a general understanding of a medium-scale human resources department. They will be responsible for assisting the CTO and the HR Leadership team with various duties, including new hire onboarding, orientation, employee assistance, and special assignments as needed. The position will report to Cindy Ison, HR Director.

      Responsibilities:

      • Maintains HRIS database of employee records as well as all active and inactive applications.
      • Conducts initial screening interviews and contacts references to verify background.
      • Conducts all new-hire orientations.
      • Assists with the development of new-hire training material.
      • Coordinates flight, car, and hotel arrangements for Leadership Training.
      • Serves as backup to Recruiter, contributing to ongoing recruiting efforts as needed.
      • Participate in recruiting activities, i.e., job fairs, etc.
      • Processing tuition reimbursement for eligible employees.
      • Assists with employee recognition programs.
      • Serves as a backup for employee benefit inquiries.
      • Mitigates employee relations issues while adhering to company, state, and federal laws and regulations.
      • Maintains complete confidentiality of all HR-related information.
      • Continually work with the department to streamline the hiring process and improve internal policies.


      Qualifications:

      Experience and Education: BA/BS in business, human resources, organizational leadership, or related field preferred.

      Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

      Technological Proficiency: Highly proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook

      Analytical Skills: Ability to maintain employee confidentiality. Superior attention to detail

      Interpersonal Skills: Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
