Works with Consulting colleagues and managers to ensure excellence in delivery of HR consulting services every day with a focus on “going above and beyond” in delighting clients in the areas of service
Works as a team leader for projects, as appropriate, providing strategic and project management guidance to team members/clients on complex organizational, compliance issues, employee benefits, performance management issues, tactical day-to-day HR challenges, and ensuring all elements are in place for a successful human resource function
Oversees and delivers consulting engagements in the areas of recruitment, leadership training and development, coaching, compensation plans, benchmarking, assessing talent and performance, recruiting, conducting audits and preparing written summaries and reports for programs and projects, and other service offerings as designated
Acts as a liaison with client senior management and/or human resources department staff in ensuring the effective high-quality delivery of services; Participates or leads in client retention calls and client service surveys as needed
Provides senior leadership with on time and on budget project management for consulting projects and recommending processes/procedures as needed
Works with consulting managers to ensure consultants are fully billable
Performs other duties as assigned
Serves as a coach to managers and consulting team members to perform HR services at the highest levels of service, and excellence
Keeps up with current issues and new developments in human resources, leadership and coaching
Assumes leadership for a specific product or service area with the sole purpose of growing a line of business, educating staff, and/or ensuring accountability and service with excellence
Teaches consulting managers and team members in identification of opportunities
Works with Consulting Managers and team members to achieve annual performance goals including client retention goals; reports progress periodically, or monthly as designated
Follows internal procedures to provide excellence in client service, protocols, and practices; Ensures adherence with direct reports
Focuses on delivering excellence in services, meeting or exceeding goals and budgets, and personal productivity goals with team members
Ensures appropriate consultant training, annually to ensure customer satisfaction – in order to exceed client expectations
Sets annual training programs for consultants to learn “best in class” for performing engagements
Ensures consulting team members are following all standards for performing all HR services and engagements, following protocols, standards, and performance requirements, including ensuring timely recaps and projections for new work, assigning work to appropriate/capable team members, appropriate report format, second level reviews conducted to standards
Actively grows the client book of business by creating new opportunities for existing clients and recommending new clients for additional business growth in products (assessments or ancillary services) and other professional services
Provides opportunities for employee engagement to the Founder/CEO. Works actively to look for opportunities to engage and retain all associates
Tracks time entry for self and ensures consulting team members are achieving billable hours goals and are tracking/reporting to accomplish goals and targets; Works with accounting on delivery of timely reporting
Provides leadership on performance for all assigned team members at least annually; Serves as a coach and mentor to consulting leaders, ensuring each team members have appropriate training and experience to perform engagements assigned with excellence and high value to the client
HR Certification - CCP Required; Obtains additional certification as approved and appropriate
5-10 years within compensation consulting
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Occasional travel may be required for this position
Master’s degree in in business, human resources, or related field
Project management expertise or certification preferred

This individual will design compensation plans, conduct pay benchmarking analyses and job evaluation plans, as well as consult on executive compensation and compliance policies. They provide expertise in annual growth/goal attainment, internal quality assurance, coaching team members/clients, assessment of consultant training needs, and manages company relationships for clients, as assigned.
