      Job Duties:

      • Administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, personal leaves, short-and long-term disability, and other applicable leave types.
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave eligibility, documentation requirements, timelines, and return-to-work expectations.
      • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all leave requests, approvals, denials, and related communications.
      • Review medical certifications and documentation to determine leave eligibility in compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
      • Monitor leave usage and collaborate with upper management on leave management.
      • Work closely with employees, providers, and management to coordinate temporary or permanent work restrictions.
      • Facilitate the interactive process under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), documenting discussions and efforts to provide reasonable accommodations.
      • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, state-specific leave laws, and company policies.
      • Communicate clearly and compassionately with employees navigating health issues, balancing support with policy adherence.
      • Establish, secure, and maintain HR records, files, and databases, including employee personnel and medical files. Ensure all documents are properly dated, signed, and filed according to company standards.
      • Conduct timely benefits orientations for eligible employees. Audit billing statements, verify work hours with Store Directors, and serve as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries.
      • Administer and educate on health plans and benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Process required documents accurately through payroll and insurance providers.
      • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing employee requests and questions promptly and professionally.
      • Assist in the organization of annual event.


      Required Skills and Experience:

      • A good understanding of FMLA and ADA, as well as the ability to track and administer is required.
      • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures is helpful.
      • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
      • Ability to function well in a high-paced and quickly changing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
