Job Description

- Responsible for all HR transactions related to FML, STD or LTD leaves for small agencies.
- Serve as SME for the Shared Services Pre-Employment Database.
- Review, audit, approve or requests correction for employment actions taken with an employee or contingent worker to include hire/rehire, all leave administrations, promotions, demotions, department/reports to or location changes, transfers, pay adjustments and personal information changes.
- Aid as needed or requested related to position management records within the PeopleSoft HRIS system, including but not limited to creating, changing, and deleting existing records.
- Utilize the VFire ticketing system for questions, corrections, and manual workflow from customers. Ensure that status updates are entered timely and accurately depict situation to enable seamless assistance to customer base.
- Assist in the identification of process efficiencies within Shared Services Team.
- Assist in the development of curriculum, coordinates and/or conducts training on identified human resources processes supported by Shared Services.
- Receive and reconciles requests for record corrections within the HRIS system.
- Serve as backup to run INPRS ERM Exception Reports for seven (7) submission units weekly. Analyzes, researches, and corrects data discrepancies. May require use of PeopleSoft HRIS and Auditor's system for research. Works with AOS contact to clear errors, sharing efforts and outcomes.
- Assist in management of SPD PERF e-mail inbox responding to request and inquiries from INPRS staff.
- Work to become a subject matter expert for areas of responsibility related to position management, ERM and LTD employees.
- Ability to analyze and research data, making independent decisions in keeping with state statute, policy and procedures.
- Ability to coordinate work between multi-functioning departments.

- Knowledge of INPRS ERM and AOS systems.

This position provides day-to-day supervision of assigned staff, and facilitates the development, implementation, monitoring, training and coordination of the HR Data Unit. The individual provides guidance and consultation to agency HR staff or regional HR staff pertaining to the HR Data entry process and procedures for Core HR. This position reports to the HR Data Manager
Salary Statement :The salary for this position traditionally starts at $39,000.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
