Job Description

- Serve as an assistant and partner to the HR team.
- Responsible to coordinate various recruiting processes including job posting, sourcing, maintaining applicant data, and collaborating with HRBP’s, hiring managers, and applicants.
- Coordinate and manage interview logistics, including booking interview rooms, arranging video or in-person interviews, and managing interview invitations.
- Perform onboarding efforts, including necessary pre-screens, reference checks, job offers, new hire paperwork, and orientation.
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Update job descriptions and summaries for current positions, as well as assist in creation of new job descriptions when applicable.
- Work with other members of the HR team to review and update company policies and procedures, identify issues needing the team’s attention, and refer complex problems to the appropriate leaders.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges/universities, and other sources for networking.
- Assist in organizing job fairs, career events, and other recruitment initiatives when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- 2+ years of HR experience or administrative experience.
- Understanding of employment law.
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent time management skills and able to work with deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to present to all levels within the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with UKG software.
- Experience working for an engineering company.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
