General Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the Human Resource department. In coordination with the Human Resource Director will assist in designing, implementing, and administering human resource policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.General Requirements: All duties performed will be done accurately and in a timely manner.
1. Oversees the HRS process.
2. Is responsible for HR presence on GMG intranet with updates, policies, and employee handbook as needed.
3. Assists with developing HR related training classes.
4. Handles employee grievances as needed.
5. Conducts employee-related investigations.
6. Assist with developing and revising job descriptions as needed.
7. Supports managers with employment advice and assists with performance management as needed.
8. Handles employee terminations and necessary paperwork.
9. Keeps abreast of current trends and practices in field of expertise.
10. Processes employee status changes adhering to proper procedure.
11. Assist with special projects.
12. Provides primary point of contact and provides support with HRIS (UKG).
13. Runs Human Resource reports.
14. Weekly visits to assigned clinic to promote Human Resource presence and support.
15. Working alongside departments to develop and revise policies and procedures as they relate to the HRIS as well as other general HR policies and procedures.
16. Timely response to all employee or external requests through all channels of communication. I.e., email, RingCentral, or company phone.
17. Ensures complete discretion and maintains strictest confidentiality.
18. Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment: Depending upon the area assigned may be 100% clinical setting or office setting in a clinic environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Mental / Physical Requirements: Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, lifting up to 10 lbs. Close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications
Education and Training: Minimum high school education or equivalent. BA/BS in Human Resources or relative field preferred. Human Resource certification is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally, and rely on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals strategically desired.
Experience: One to three years of Human Resource experience required.
Other Requirements: Computer Skills: Knowledge of Word processing software, spreadsheet software, Internet, and database software. Skills in using computer/copier.
