      THE JOB

      During the 2024 Summer Fall Cohort, the HR Intern will be provided with experience across certain aspects of the employee lifecycle, while supporting the Global HR Team and the HR Business Operations Vertical on various optimization and HR Priority Program projects and research. In this role, the HR Intern shadows each member of the Canadian HR team to understand the nuance between each role and gain a taste of multiple HR functions from recruitment, payroll and benefits administration, total rewards, health and safety, as well as other compliance driven functions.

      WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

      • File Centralization – Partner with HR stakeholders on the centralization of major market (eg., US, Canada, and UK/IE) personnel files (excluding Front Gate Tickets (FGT) and Fan Support Orgs) for Ticketmaster division.
      • Recruitment – Research Canadian recruitment events that target all types of diverse Tech and non-Tech talent across the country, while keeping all employment opportunities top of mind (eg., casual/seasonal, regular/permanent, fixed-term, early talent/internships, part-time vs. full-time, etc.).
      • Projects/Research – Partnering with broader HR Business Operations Mgmt. Team to provide support for HR Priority Programs such as but not limited to Global Mobility, Compensation & Global Benefits, and Job Levelling & Competency Framework. The Intern will also be required to support on various projects and research on legislation/industry best practices across LOBs.
      • Additional Support – Provide local support and coordination for all types of Ticketmaster events happening within the Toronto area (eg., Global Summits, GET Offsites, Toronto Socials, etc.), while supporting with travel scheduling and expense report requests/submissions and office management/facilities related duties such as but not limited to ordering office supplies, coordinating catering services, and managing office space reservations for individuals workspaces and boardroom meetings.

      WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (TECHNICAL SKILLS)

      • The student must be enrolled in a recognized and accredited post-secondary institution. Where the student seeks credit for the Internship, their post-secondary program must include a co-op or internship term;
      • Minimum 1-2 years’ (part time) experience working in a customer facing and/or service role; Must be able to work independently with efficiency in an extremely fast-paced, results driven environment;
      • Able to maintain a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times;
      • Excellent command of the MS Office suite, especially MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (i.e. can perform the following tasks without much instruction: mail merges; organizing and interpreting data (vlookups and pivot tables; conditional formatting); and
      • In an effort to provide an immersive experience over the 15-week term, we are requiring that the role be hybrid.

      YOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bilingualism, French and English, considered an asset);
