- Recruitment: Proactively market and recruit new employees, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and successfully place new hires.
- Employee Tracking: Maintain accurate personnel records, manage HR documents, and regularly update internal databases.
- Onboarding: Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new hires.
- DOT Compliance: Manage compliance programs and oversee testing requirements related to DOT standards.
- General HR: Address employee relations, administer benefits programs, support the payroll department, ensure adherence to labor laws, develop and implement HR policies, and manage confidential employee records.
- Maintain and update the company website while participating in outreach events.
- Enforce and implement company policies and procedures effectively.
- Assist in tracking and initiating employee training and development programs.

- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Construction experience is highly desirable
- Experience with regulatory compliance or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Proven track record as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and strong computer literacy
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
